AEG Black Friday 2026: what actually drops, and when to buy
AEG appliances do get cheaper in November. Not all of them, not by as much as the banners say, and not always on the day itself.
AEG sits at the top of the mainstream appliance market: washing machines, washer dryers, ovens, hobs and dishwashers priced above Bosch and well above Beko. Because they cost more, the pounds saved in a genuine sale are larger, and so is the temptation for retailers to dress up an ordinary price as a Black Friday one.
What AEG prices look like right now
We track AEG across UK retailers every day. As of late September, the deepest discounts available on AEG appliances run at roughly 22 to 28 percent below RRP, mostly on washing machines, washer dryers and built-in ovens. That is the baseline to judge November against. A Black Friday "deal" at 25 percent off is not a Black Friday deal on AEG; it is the normal price.
What tends to drop in November
Laundry. Washing machines and washer dryers are where AEG discounting is most consistent, because the range turns over every year or two and older models have to clear. If a model has been on sale since spring, November is often where it hits its lowest.
Built-in ovens and hobs. These move more slowly and discount less often, but bundle offers appear — oven plus hob, or a cashback claim through AEG itself. Cashback schemes are worth reading carefully: the saving is real but arrives weeks later and only if you register the product.
Dishwashers. Discounted, but less predictably. Worth watching rather than assuming.
What rarely drops
AEG's newest models, launched in the months before Black Friday, are the least likely to see real reductions. Retailers have no stock to clear and no reason to cut margin. If a model is new this year, expect small discounts at best.
The date matters less than you think
Much of the appliance market now runs Black Friday pricing from early November through to Cyber Monday, and several retailers reprice the same product more than once in that window. The lowest price of the season is not guaranteed to fall on the Friday. For expensive appliances, the January sales are often just as good, and occasionally better, as retailers clear stock ahead of the new range.
How to tell a genuine AEG deal
Ignore the "was" price and look at the price history. Three questions settle almost every case:
Has it been this price before? If the product sat at the same "sale" price in September, the November banner is decoration.
Is it the same model? AEG model codes are long and differ by a letter or two between variants — colour, drum size, energy rating. A cheaper listing with a slightly different code may be a different machine.
What is the delivery and installation cost? Appliance prices without delivery, installation and removal of the old unit can hide £50 to £100 of difference between retailers.
Our advice
If you need an AEG appliance now, buy it now at a genuine low rather than waiting on a promise. If you can wait, watch the specific model through October so you know its real price before the November banners arrive — then you will know within seconds whether a Black Friday offer is worth having. Our price history on every product page is built for exactly that, and you can set a watch to be emailed the moment the price drops.
