Who publishes this

PriceDrop UK is published by Bargain Basics Ltd, a Manchester retail business registered in England and Wales (company 15656713). We run physical shops and an online retail operation; checking product prices across UK retailers is part of our working day. The site began in September 2026 as a way to publish what we were already doing.

How the site is produced

Product prices are pulled from retailer product feeds every morning and checked against each retailer’s stated previous price and against Amazon UK for the same product code. Every listed product’s price is recorded daily and shown as a history on its page. Products with mismatched listings or implausible gaps are removed before publication. The method is set out in full in How it works and How we check prices.

The buying guides and articles are written by the Bargain Basics team from our own retail experience and from publicly verifiable product information. They explain how to read prices and specifications and when to buy; they do not review individual products we have not used. Articles carry a publication date; guides are refreshed each morning with current figures and note the date at the top.

Independence

No retailer or brand pays to be listed, ranked or mentioned. Ranking on every page is by the size and genuineness of the price drop. We do not accept sponsored content, we do not list voucher codes, and we do not run cashback.

Some retailer links are affiliate links: if you buy after clicking, the retailer pays us a commission. That commission does not affect the price you pay, which retailers we list, or how deals are ordered. Our full affiliate disclosure sets this out.

Retailers we list

We list retailers that are registered UK companies with a public reviews record and a clear returns policy. Several retailers with product feeds available have been excluded on those grounds. The list is reviewed as retailers are added.

Corrections

Prices change and feeds can be wrong. If a price, product or statement on this site is inaccurate, email hello@pricedropuk.co.uk or use the contact page. We correct errors on the next daily build and, for articles, note the correction on the page.
