Dormer E500 straight flute tap for metric coarse threading.
The 8 mm taper tap is suitable for hand tapping or machine use, and can be used in through holes or blind holes in most materials.
When tapping blind holes, straight flute taps should be used in sets of three: taper (first), intermediate (second) and bottoming (third) taps.
Manufactured from HSS High Speed Steel with bright surface treatment and Class 2 tolerance for 6H fit.
Conforms to ISO 529.
The tap features straight flute geometry with a 1.25 mm pitch.
