The Festool EXO 18 ExoActive Exoskeleton is a battery-powered wearable support system designed to reduce physical strain during overhead and chest-height work tasks.
Worn like a rucksack and adjustable to individual height, the ExoActive actively assists arm movement using an 18V battery-powered drive system, delivering up to 50 N (5 kg) of support force per arm.
This makes it particularly well suited to tradespeople carrying out prolonged overhead activities such as dry mortarless construction, painting, wallpapering, and installation work on walls and ceilings.
The system gives users control
