A cast iron mechanic's vice with 100 mm (4 inch) jaw opening.
The body and sliding jaw are cast from close-grained grey iron, machined on all friction surfaces.
The hardened steel jaws are replaceable, and the main steel screw features a two-start rolled acme thread for faster operation.
A fused steel handle will bend before the vice becomes overstressed, and a safety stop prevents the slide from separating from the body.
The vice weighs 12.9 kg and measures 199 mm length, 193 mm width and 373 mm height.
Replacement parts are available.
